Contemporary Home International reveals luxury outdoor furniture range
Online retailer Contemporary Home International (www.contemporary-home.co.uk) has unveiled an extensive range of top-quality, all-weather furniture from one of the world’s leading providers of exclusive outdoor furniture.
The Dedon collection of wicker garden furniture is designed by a team of international designers to add style and comfort to outdoor living. It is manufactured by hand in a traditional fashion by braiding artisans on the island of Cebu in the Philippines. Each piece is tailor-made in Cebu, a Mecca for the traditional art of handweaving.
Contemporary Home International, which is fast establishing itself as the leading supplier of luxury European furniture in the UK, has access to the complete Dedon portfolio of daybeds, dining tables and chairs. This includes the signature Obelisk and YinYang collection (pictured above) and the Dedon Dress Code (DDC) range, which was unveiled at the 2009 Milan furniture show. DDC saw Dedon introduce the world of fashion to its wicker furniture (pictured below).
Gabriel Homer, director of Contemporary Home International, says the Dedon range is a big seller for the online retailer. “The team at Dedon come up with some inspiring design ideas all the time. The Obelisk range is particularly impressive. It has four chairs and a table that stack to make an obelisk – a great talking point at any summer garden party.”
Any time of the year, the Contemporary Home International website is a furniture connoisseur’s dream, featuring high-end products from more than 50 design-led brands, with a particular focus on Italian names such as B&B Italia, Ceccotti, Poliform, and Flexform. Furniture from iconic designers including Philippe Starck, Antonio Citterio, and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is also available from Contemporary Home International.
The company has access to more than 100 brands through its network of suppliers in Europe and can usually offer the furniture for significantly lower than usual UK retail prices.
