Double-award winning restaurant group Lussmanns delivers more than 50,000 food items over summer

Independent restaurant group Lussmanns, run by Andrei Lussmann, had to turn its operations around in 30 hours when the lockdown happened, setting up an oven-ready meals and food products delivery service.

We worked hard to get his story heard on the BBC, on TV and radio multiple times, and Lussmanns has now delivered well over 50,000 items of food to customers.


Three of the five Lussmanns restaurants have now reopened (St Albans, Harpenden and Hitchin) with stringent safety measures in place. Andrei continues to speak to the media about his industry's current challenges.

And, hot off the presses, he has just won a prestigious national industry award for sustainability for the second year: the MSC menu of the year.
